How to...

Many people don't have this animal as a pet.
But they used them for racing sports some of the time.
Here are some hints
-it's big
-it usually belongs on a barn
-it has a long mane

If you've guessed horse,you've guessed correctly.
Here are ten tips on caring for horses
1.Don't feed it one big meal instead feed it several small meals a day give it hay to graze
2.Make sure your horse is able to handle being around new people
3.Make sure to give it clean water to drink
4.Let your horse run around it's stable or field,they need exercise too
5.Make sure you are ready for anything bad that might happen,never handle it alone get an adult to help you
6.Get regular check ups and vaccinations from diseases your horse may get infected with
7.Trim the hooves every 6 to 8 weeks find an expert to help if it's your first time
8.Check your horses teeth twice a year and float them(or make them smoother) to prevent dental diseases
9.keep these objects away from horses
  • Wilted red maple leaves
  • Black walnut  (e.g. as shavings in bedding)
  • Oak (especially new-growth leaves in the springtime)
  • Taxus species (yew, Japanese yew, American yew, English yew, western yew, oleander and rose laurel
  • Rhododendron and azalea
  • White snakeroot, richweed, white sanicle, jimmy weed, rayless goldenrod, burrow weed
  • Yellow star thistle, St. Barnaby's thistle, Russian napweed
  • Blister beetles, which can sometimes be found in alfalfa hay, especially in the Midwest and Southwest)
10.Make sure it's stable blocks direct sunlight,winds and rain.Keep the stable room temperature for your            horse to rest in
